Presidential candidate Donald J. Trump has strengthened his discourse in favor of a more aggressive, stronger immigration policy, in counterbalance to an increasingly weak presidential figure of Joe Biden.

“President Donald J. Trump created the most secure border in the U.S., ” his campaign office said.

He ended catch-and-release, took down human traffickers, deported record numbers of illegal alien gang members, and built 450 miles of powerful new wall. Joe Biden turned our country into one giant sanctuary for dangerous criminal aliens when he suspended all immigration enforcement in the middle of a global pandemic and reversed landmark agreements that safely returned asylum-seekers to Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

“The onslaught of illegal aliens invading our wide-open borders threatens public safety, drains the treasury, undermines U.S. workers, and burdens schools and hospitals. President Trump will shut down Biden’s border disaster. He will again end catch-and-release, restore Remain in Mexico, and eliminate asylum fraud.

“In cooperative states, President Trump will deputize the National Guard and local law enforcement to assist with rapidly removing illegal alien gang members and criminals. “He will also deliver a merit-based immigration system that protects American labor and promotes American values,” his campaign said.

Next week, the Republican Convention hopes to enthrone Trump as its presidential candidate.

Trump has emphasized that he will keep the promise of closing the border to the crossing of undocumented immigrants and mass deportations.

Mexican President Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador has laughed at that.

“We are the main trading partner, you can’t do that. “It would create economic chaos,” declared López Obrador.

Mexico enjoys economic and political health. On October 1, the elected president, Claudia Sheibaum, assumes control of the country with even greater popularity than when the current Mexican president was elected.

Claudia Sheinbaum is neither a woman nor a weak political character. Trained in social struggles, she has said that foreign policy will be formed based on negotiation, but not submission.

Meanwhile, pressure is on Biden to abandon his re-election bid.

Among the names that are being considered for a possible replacement are the current governor of California, Gavin Newsom, and the former First Lady, Michelle Obama.
