The community of day laborers and volunteers continued their efforts to support and clean up the damage left by the devastating fires that have affected Los Angeles.
On their social media, they shared the following message:
“Day 2 of the street brigade! Today, we continue in solidarity with our community, proving that migrants are the beating hearts of these people. In the face of adversity, we respond with love and resilience because we love our people and will never stop fighting for a just future. Together, we are stronger!”
Numerous volunteers have come forward to express their solidarity and contribute in whatever ways they can to this collective effort.
On behalf of the artistic community, the famous Mana singer, Fher, released a video in which he urges fellow artists to join this effort and donate whatever they can to help those affected.

“A huge shoutout to @manaoficial for setting an example of how artists can use their platforms to support and contribute in times of need, especially during devastating climate catastrophes like the multiple fires that have been destroying entire communities over the past few days.
The @pasadenajobcenter Fire Brigade has been working tirelessly to assist those affected by the fires in our area, and we need all the donations and supplies we can gather.
If you want to donate supplies, here’s what we currently need:
Easy-to-prepare non-perishable food
Masks
Personal care items
toilet paper
Snacks
Diapers
Sanitary pads
baby formula
Gloves

Blankets or sleeping bags
