Wearing jeans and a t-shirt or shirt is the most comfortable option for both men and women, but few people know that jeans from the world’s most famous brands, such as Levi’s, Guess, and Hugo Boss, are made in Puebla, Mexico.
These jeans are sold in stores at prices ranging from 1,200 to 3,000 pesos, depending on the brand, but the same items can be found at much lower prices in Puebla.
The hands of men and women from Puebla who work in the maquilas are responsible for making these garments, which are later branded with the most recognized brands.
According to information from the National Chamber of the Apparel Industry (Canaive), Puebla-Tlaxcala delegation, since 2022, factories and maquiladoras established in the municipalities of Tehuacán, Teziutlán, and San MartÃn Texmelucan have been producing the world’s most famous jeans.
However, there are several advertisements from manufacturers on social media and buying and selling platforms for various items offering these jeans at lower prices.
On the same platforms, there are also videos that refer to sites where original jeans can be found at “crazy” prices, despite being original.

To give you an idea, there are ads with phrases like “wholesale factory clearance original Levi’s pants,” and upon entering the page, they claim to have women’s styles in sizes 3 to 17 and men’s styles in sizes 28 to 40.
The styles they offer are 721 Skinny, 720 Skinny (ankle), 715 Straight, 726 Flare, 501 Button-Down Jeans, 511 Skinny, 514 Classic Straight, 505 Zipper Fly Jeans, among others.
In terms of fabrics, they also offer rigid, stretch, soft, thin, and thick denim jeans.
