Since then, this influencer, always accompanied by his faithful dog, Swagy, has toured different areas of Los Angeles County, spreading a message of unity and hope. According to Swagman, his main goal is to remind everyone that “the United States is a place built by immigrants from all over the world.”
The young man’s authenticity and charisma have not gone unnoticed, as some of his followers have even had the opportunity to meet him in person. Marco, an Argentine immigrant, stated: “I think it’s right that he wants to represent his nation. I’ve seen his videos and laughed a lot. That’s why I wanted to meet him.”
DJ Swagman Faces Messages and Even the Police
However, it hasn’t all been easy for DJ Swagman. His presence and messages in support of immigrants have made some people uncomfortable, to the point that there have been reports of incidents in which the police were even called.
Despite this, the DJ maintains his stance of responding to hate with love. “If someone treats you badly, fight back with love, because love wins,” he stated, highlighting his philosophy for facing adversity.
In addition to his messages of unity, DJ Swagman has combined his influencer side with his passion for rescuing dogs with disabilities. For him, this work represents another of his important missions, as he believes these animals often have little chance of survival. With millions of followers on social media,
DJ Swagman is aware that his anti-racism and pro-unity message could cause controversy and cause him to lose followers. However, this doesn’t stop him.
“If I lose 20,000 followers, I gain another 300,000,” the young man said confidently, assuring him that he will continue spreading his message of love for all Latinos.
