People are starting to stream holiday music earlier each year.

Spotify released its 2024 Spotify Singles Holiday Collection one month earlier than usual this year, accommodating early listeners.

On Nov. 1, Spotify saw dozens of Christmas songs surge, including classics like Eartha Kitt’s “Santa Baby” and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” which re-entered Spotify’s Daily Top U.S. Chart this month.

From Oct. 31 to Nov. 1, “Christmas Dreaming” by Laufey saw a 1,450% increase in streams, “The Christmas Waltz” by Laufey saw a 1,090% increase, and “Christmas Tree Farm — Old Timey Version” by Taylor Swift hit a 1,020% increase.
