Mexico Has Deployed its Firefighters to Aid in The Los Angeles Fires

Different social media posts have reported the presence of Mexican firefighters in Los Angeles to help combat the catastrophic fires that have struck the area.

The International Federation of Jalisco reported and made known the presence of the Mexican firefighters.

“Thanks to all these brave men who stand in solidarity with California and come to support the terrible tragedy that is happening in the Los Angeles area. To all the men and women, rescuers, as well as all the supporting personnel, may God bless their lives,” they expressed in various comments.

The Mexican government has expressed its unconditional support to California Governor Gavin Newsom in the fight and rebuilding efforts after this disaster.

“Following the unfortunate fires affecting the Los Angeles area in California, United States, Mexico’s President, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo,” expressed her solidarity with the region’s residents.

During her morning press conference, the president revealed that Mexican Foreign Minister Juan Ramón de la Fuente has been in communication with the consulate in Los Angeles to monitor the situation and evaluate possible assistance actions.

In addition to this, the head of state emphasized that she has requested to establish contact with California Governor Gavin Newsom to coordinate efforts and offer help from Mexico if necessary.
