Moka Laguna is one of the most beloved influencers in the community, and that is due to the affection and dedication she puts into the community. “At Tortas Chago, you will always have us. Children, youth, and organizations with a cause that impact the community, we will be here,” says Laguna, who is in charge of public relations and marketing at Tortas Chago.

“We support sports projects, culture, mentorship, anything that means support,” she adds. Moka, an excellent woman concerned about the community, just like her uncle Santiago Laguna, comes from a very humble family; They grew their business thanks to their perseverance and hard work.

“I asked around, and indeed, as children, we didn’t have money for anything, and they made cardboard sandals for us so that we wouldn’t walk barefoot,” says the now owner of Tortas Chago, a very popular place specializing in tortas ahogadas in Los Angeles and Guadalajara, Mexico. Moka inherited this from her uncle.

“There are many promises in the community. The truth is that we have never sought help from government; we have done it as a family because that’s how we feel. Thank God, in the family, we have helped each other and helped the community “We have dreams, and thanks to God, we have been able to help,” adds Moka.

Both Moka and Santiago are strong believers, and their faith is above all. “That’s why we come into the world, to help. If they need mentorship, classes, or anything else, we will be there. The greatest reward is sharing,” she concludes.
