The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) reported that the daughter of Carlota “N,” identified as Mariana “N,” was the owner of the Chalco home where two men were murdered and a teenager was injured in a dispute related to a home invasion on April 1.

After both women and Eduardo “N,” Carlota “N’s” son, were transferred on the afternoon of Friday, April 4, to the Chalco Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center, the Attorney General’s Office specified that the elderly woman’s daughter was the owner and reported the eviction of the property on March 27.

Mariana “N” stated that around 5:00 p.m. that day, she was informed that three people had entered her home, located on Hacienda la Labor Street, in the Hacienda de Guadalupe neighborhood, and had removed her belongings without authorization. Therefore, she decided to report the crime of dispossession.

As part of the investigation, the Public Prosecutor’s Office requested video recordings from the cameras at the address from the Chalco Director of Public Security, and a request was issued to implement a protective measure for Mariana “N”‘s home, located in the Iztapalapa borough.

After information about the Chalco property was requested from the State of Mexico Registry Institute (IFREM) and the municipal cadastre, the Public Prosecutor’s Office determined this Friday, April 4, to grant possession of the property to Mariana “N,” daughter of Mrs. Carlota “N.”
