Laguna Honda doctors warned SF of looming crisis due to decertification

The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services decertified San Francisco’s Laguna Honda Hospital after a series of inspections — triggered in July 2021 when two patients nonfatally overdosed on fentanyl and methamphetamine — revealed many violations, including patients in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
