ABOUT THE ARTIST & FOUNDER:
Claudia Ramos created the Hola Mijas Bonitas brand and its’ characters to share her own diverse, lively experiences growing up in Los Angeles. The artist behind all the illustrations seen within the brand, Claudia’s goal is to bring inclusivity and diversity to the world through her products.
Claudia is proud to be the first generation in her family, originally from El Salvador, to graduated with a B.A. from CSUN and be an entrepreneur.“I want to spread joy and happiness to the world!”
The Latinx stationery brand Hola Mijas Bonitas was founded by Claudia Ramos in 2020. Ramos started the brand to address the lack of representation of the Latinx community in stationery and to celebrate the beauty of diversity:Â

Inspiration
Ramos was inspired to create the brand after noticing a lack of cute characters that represented her and her community in a positive way.Â

Characters
Ramos created five diverse characters, Claudia, Amber, Mily, Rosa, and Lizbeth, to represent her community. The characters are influenced by Ramos’ life growing up in Los Angeles.Â
