In 2021, remittances grew 27 and 12.9 percent in dollars and constant pesos, but last year it was at 13.4 and 4.2 percent, respectively, said Jesús Cervantes, director of Economic Statistics and coordinator of the Remittance Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Center for Latin American Monetary Studies (CEMLA).
