Yes, he is brilliant, but he relies on young people to change this country:
His name is Gonzalo Santos, and he brought his progression as a sociologist at UC.
We all saw it coming; it’s a class struggle, young people will decide the changes in this country,” says Santos.
But resistance is the key word.
“This country has lived through many transformations, and the class struggle has always been present,” he says.
The problem he sees this time is the polarization that exists.
The post-electoral conflict has pitted all sectors of the country against each other—social movements, community organizations, politicians—but the dreamers have been at the front line.
“There will come a moment of stabilization, but not now,” says Santos.
“Young people will change this country,” he says.
